Kemmel and Dr. Lisa Dunham are missionaries in Chichicastenango, Guatemala. They live and work with the indigenous Mayan population in the Quiche province. Dr. Lisa provides medical care to surrounding villages through the use of mobile clinics while Kemmel mentors local church leaders. The Dunhams were members at Eastside until 2005 when, under the oversight of Eastside and in partnership with Health Talents International, they began this work. You can follow the Dunhams at kemmelandlisa.blogspot.com. They also work with the ABC child sponsorship program that works through local churches of Christ in Guatemala. If you would like to sponsor a child for only $35 a month, contact email@example.com.
Nathan, Umoyo, and little Anna Holland are part of the Angola mission team that was formed when Nathan studied missions at Harding University. Nathan grew up in a military family, but likes to claim he is from Colorado since he attended Eastside and PPCS. Nathan arrived in Angola in July of 2011, and he met and married Umoyo in December of 2013. The Hollands have temporarily located to Namibia to receive proper medical care during the birth of Anna and to take care of necessary visas, passports, and vaccinations. Right now, they are working with a ministry called 3Measures and with the Wanaheda Church of Christ in Katutura. For more information, visit angolateam.org.
